Mike Chen
Mike Chen came to prominence in internet marketing in 2002
with his creation of the first website security software, “Weblock
Pro”. Weblock Pro basically hides the source code of a website so that
it cannot be seen or stolen by those who would profit from copying it.
Chen was justly applauded for creating such a vital and in demand
product. More importantly, he made over $80,000 in commissions with
Mark Joyner’s firewall programs, so he is flexible, and can both sell
and create a viable product.
More recently, Chen has created an internet method that allows a normal
person to create their own software without actually writing code.
Chen’s product is pretty user friendly and intended for the common man
who wants to become the creator of his own software program. It’s a
decent idea, but the product is pretty lame to those who actually know
anything about programming. It also tends to have more than a few bugs,
but I suppose it depends on how complex the program trying to be
created is, so just be cognizant of that.
Taken as a whole, Mike Chen seems to be a fairly respectable
businessman. Although his Weblock Pro was great, we would warn everyone
to be concerned of a software program that can be created with such
ease.
