A well respected marketing consultant and
copywriter, Yanik Silver specializes in selling tools to marketers.
Before Silver got into the direct marketing business, he sold medical
equipment as a teenager.
Silver had a great reputation in the
marketing arena and in my opinion he is also one of the most credible
and honest marketers online. I liked every product I bought from
him and I think that his prices are fair. Silver also provides
great customer service unlike many other programs. He even takes
an extra step by answering emails himself in a timely manner and is
very polite, something that is unheard of in the industry.
Silver did not just appear overnight with
riveting success. In fact, he was already a well received
copywriter before he made it on the internet arena. He is known
for running several successful marketing campaigns when he was selling
medical products offline.
Attributable to his copywriting expertise,
Silver decided to create his now famous product named “Instant Sales
Letters.” This product has ready made templates of killer sales
letters. All you have to do was fill in the blanks i.e. product
name and contact info type stuff, and boom… instant sales letter.
Silver is the one who created the popular
Instant Sales Letters site. His templates are great for
beginners, and while his material may have been great in the earlier
days, I would digress from using his materials now. While they
were considered effective, the proliferation of his content may lead to
diminishing returns over an originally well crafted letter.
Silver wrote several books including: Days To
Online Profits VIDEO Enhanced Tutorial eBook, Instant Sales Letters,
Surefire Sales Letter Secrets, 21 Mind Motivators: Psychological
Tactics to Capture More Profits, 33 Days To Online Profits, The
Ultimate Sales Letter Toolbox, Instant Internet Profits, Million Dollar
Emails and 33 Autoresponder Magic. Note that “21 Mind-Motivators
was created by Silver and Alex Mandossian, and sold by Armand Morin.
Silver even created a publication to help
doctors, but I'm not sure what kind of content was in it.
As you might have guessed, I highly
recommend Silver and his teachings. His marketing advice is right
on the money, but I’m just not a follower in his automatic sales letter
maker. On my personal book shelf is a book that taught me the art
of writing sales letters, and I get stronger responses from I learned
from that book than what I used in Silver’s Instant Sales Letter system.
